Some Malaysia mosques reopen for Friday prayers as restrictions ease

Some mosques in Malaysia are allowed to open their doors for Friday prayers after nearly two months as social restrictions in the Muslim-majority country are slowly eased. Only mosques in “green zones” (areas with no active COVID-19 cases) are allowed to open, with gatherings limited to not more than 30 people seated in prayer about a metre apart from each other.
