Saudi Arabia urged all parties to the Riyadh Agreement to work together for the best interests of Yemenis.
In its statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the parties should work to implement the agreement giving priority to the higher interests with a sense of their national responsibility.
The ministry also called for resolving the differences and challenges facing the implementation of the agreement and keeping away from the media quarrels that do not serve the interests.
The Yemeni government welcomed the ministry statement, confirming that it is seriously committed to its part of the agreement.
In a statement published by the official Yemeni news agency, Saba, the Yemeni government stated that it renewed “its commitment and complete keenness to implementing the (Riyadh Agreement) given that it establishes a new stage of completing the victory in Yemen’s existential and fateful battle against the Iranian project, and achieving security, stability and normalization of conditions.”
