Saudi Arabia receives repatriated nationals from Berlin

A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight carrying Saudi nationals from Berlin has landed in Riyadh, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to repatriate its stranded citizens because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The returnees arrived at the King Khalid International Airport and were received by Saudi authorities for necessary health checks, the Saudi Press Agency has reported.

The Ministry of Health has ensured they were subject to relevant health procedures before they leave the airport, including going through thermal scanners and sterilization gates.

The passengers were then transported to quarantine areas set up by the health and tourism ministries.
