Saudi Arabia announces 5 deaths, 382 new cases

 Saudi Arabia reported 382 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 4,033, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.

The ministry also confirmed five more deaths, pushing the death toll in the Kingdom to 52.

A total of 35 people has made full recovery from the virus, taking the tally of patients recovered to 720.

The ministry noted that 70 to 80 per cent of covid-19 cases recently detected belong to expats, adding that the virus can infect all age groups.

The ministry made it clear that using plasma therapy in the kingdom is currently under consideration.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development has announced it is waiving orphans and people with disabilities from housing dues for a period of three months. The waiver also covers social security beneficiaries.
