The second recommendation highlighted the importance of promoting health in the humanitarian context by focusing on infectious diseases and using the sustainable development goals as a tool to support an integrated approach to develop a sustainable framework to eliminate them.

It urged concerned parties to exchange important information derived from early warning systems to ensure early interventions.

In its third recommendation, the Riyadh statement pointed to the importance of examining the drivers behind mass migrations overseas from Africa to the Gulf states and Europe in humanitarian cases through a more comprehensive understanding of the issue.

It its final recommended, the statement highlighted that increased investment and multisectoral support for young children and caretakers in crisis and displacement cases have an immediate and lasting impact on protecting children’s rights and establishing peaceful and stable societies in the future.
