“MBS’s visit to Cairo is an important step to boost the strategic relations between the two countries,” Wahdan said in a press statement Tuesday. He further stressed that the Riyadh-Cairo relationship is “unique”.
“Cairo-Riyadh’s strong ties bring stability to the Arab region,” he added.
The Saudi crown prince arrived in Cairo on Nov. 26 for a two-day visit.
He is expected to hold bilateral talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and discuss recent developments in the region.
