King Fahd University in Saudi Arabia ranks 4th in list of top 100 universities worldwide

Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has ranked 4th best in a list of the Top 100 Worldwide Universities Granted US Utility Patents in 2019.

The list published by the US National Academy of Inventors include leaders of innovation worldwide through their encouragement of academic discovery and invention.

The King Fahd University was preceded by the University of California, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Texas.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Energy Minister and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, stressed that “this achievement is a pride for all of Saudi Arabia, and reflects the progress we are experiencing in all fields.

He indicated that what has been achieved is a natural result of the strategic methodology in the fields of research and innovation that the university has followed over the past decades.
