It all began coming together with Emirates’ announcement last year that it would ‘join forces’ with Flydubai.

By tapping into the hybrid-budget carrier’s smaller sized fleet that operates out of the same airport in the same city, Dubai could get passengers on more cost-efficient aircraft from places that few other carriers were flying to, and the only carrier that promises a smorgasbord of menus, young and smart cabin crew, onboard bars and lounges, live sporting events at 35,000 feet – quite literally, ‘a world of possibilities’.
