Cyclone Maha over 1,000 km away from Oman

Tropical storm Maha is currently around 1,500 km away from the Sultanate’s coast the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced.

PACA said in a statement online: “The wind speed around the center of the tropical storm Maha is (35-45) knots and it is still classified as a tropical storm with the continued movement in the north / northwest direction. It is currently 1,500 km away off the coast of the Sultanate and no effects are expected in the next five days.”
