591,586 illegal expatriates deported by Saudi Arabia since November 2017

Saudi Arabia has so far deported a total of 591,586 expatriates for overstaying their residence permits, flouting labour laws and violating border security, according to SPA.

The deportees were part of 2,297,383 expatriates who were arrested in a crackdown on illegal foreign workers, which started on November 15 last year.

According to the latest statistics, 1,783,074 violators overstayed their legal residence, 352,932 broke the labour laws and 161,377 were caught in breach of border security regulations.

Saudi authorities took legal action against 360,106 illegal expatriates and referred 325,296 to their respective embassies to be supplied with passports and out-passes.
